Extensive Hiring Process

At Hawk Security, we place a great emphasis on the satisfaction of our employees and pride ourselves in building positive long lasting relationships which enables us to assess our company performance and constantly seek ways for improvement.

Hawk Security began with 3 employees in British Columbia and has grown into a professional strength of 30 part time and 200 full time employees with a combined 5000 hours of security services per week.

At Hawk Security, we are very selective in our hiring process. All security officers go through a BST I & II training with 56 hours classroom training from affiliated institute of Public Safety and Solicitor General of British Columbia and then 24 hours of advanced instruction training under the direction of experienced Field Training Personnel. On average, we select 11 out of 6 applicants. Our selective personnel process has proven to be highly effective and is a main contributing factor in our company's superior past and present performance.

Hawk Security requires all security officers to complete an intensive, two-phased screening and training process. This process exceeds the standards of every security business in the industry and ensures that Hawk Security officers are truly the best-of-the-best.

Initial Screening

Phase I is our initial screening that includes a candidate’s full background investigation, psychological examination, personally screening, finger printing, criminal record check, and English language test.

Field Training

Phase II is our field training and advanced screening where prior to assignment, all Hawk Security officer candidates are required to complete 24 hours of training with Field Training Officers (FTOs). During the Field Training Program, the FTOs assigned to candidates carefully evaluate the recruits to ensure that they meet the Hawk Security standard of professionalism.

Innovative Quality Control Program

Our Management Teams work with clients to evaluate performance and to ensure that any incidents at your site are quickly identified; recorded and corrective actions are taken immediately.

Our Field Supervisors operate around the clock and regularly do inspections on premises and monitor security guards working on-site. Similarly our clients have access to our 24 hours state-of –art monitor centre and to our senior management should they have any concerns. We feel that with the feedback of our esteemed clients we can find ways in which to improve our performance.
